MATH 1503 - College Algebra |
Prerequisite: 0123 at OU, or satisfactory score on the placement test, or, for incoming freshmen direct from high school, satisfactory score on the ACT/SAT. Review of basic algebraic skills such as multiplying and factoring polynomials, rational expressions, linear equations and inequalities, exponents and radicals, absolute values. Other topics include the concept, notation, and algebra of functions, functions of linear, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic type, systems of equations.
